Today, we are celebrating fifteen years in business. Who would have thought it back in 2009 that we would reach this milestone.
Looking back, we are proud of the many and various organisations that we have worked with. For a period Instinctively Green operated on a part time basis, during which we spent many hours setting up the award winning k1 (now Marmalade Lane), Cohousing scheme in Cambridge. Thanks to Flagship and Funding Affordable Homes to allow Instinctively Green to contine. During those years, we have developed a real passion for community led housing.
We are now operating full time and have a range of clients with exciting and challenging projects. While most of the projects involve the delivery of good quality, sustainable affordable homes, we are also seeing more work on the sustainability strategy side. (How ironic was the BBC News report on the closure of the UK’s last coal fired power station yesterday).
A key current client is Fenland Future Ltd, which is the wholly owned subsidiary of Fenland District Council (FDC) where we are bringing forward sustainable developments on previously owned FDC land.
We are proud of the achievements to-date and hope that we will engage in a few more over the next few years.
